And are you blacc ?

Blacc ppl don’t randomly bring up Chicago for no reason
Ask the people of the South side of Chicago who have those in leadership that look just like them how that's worked out for the past 30 years.

As a white guy, I can confirm this. Theyre always the first ppl to try and come up and sneak in some fukked up shyt like you're just supposed to go along with it because you're white

I went out with a girl a few times who was on that super right wing stuff (in Canada though so obviously a bit of a difference), and we were stopped at a red light and there was a particularly gross homeless white guy crossing the street and she was like "ugh that's so gross" and before I could really say anything, she was like "he needs to pull his fukking pants up" and that's when I noticed she was talking about the teenage black kid crossing the street. Very uncomfortable

Pick a city - Baton Rouge, Detroit, NYC, LA, Oakland, San Francisco where the leadership looks like them and ask the black communities to rate the leadership.

:patrice: I think we think Black Conservatism is synonymous with the Clarence Thomas types. Blacks, at least in the south, are traditional but have big hearts for people and social issues.

I usually think that of scary dudes who position scientific knowledge and technological know how as cac shyt. They frame it as a white thing then also act afraid of it. Lean into superstitions and conspiracy when they can't comprehend shyt. Always acting reactionary scared and hopeless. But i wouldn't say it's a conservative thing despite them being over represented. It's a lack of education thing.

As much as people talk about the dangers of Christianity and religion as a whole, I hear few people discuss the dangers of Scientism, science as a religion, with these types. They use it to denigrate us and justify the horrible conditions that we deal with.

Most my family from Alabama & Georgia are blue collar, hard working folks. They tend to have homogenous communities. They will accept someone who say marries someone who's white or if a child is gay. They may not personally "understand" it but they will be kind to them and treat them nice.

A lot of southern Blacks are HIGHLY religious and this shows in many aspects of their lives.

Many are not for abortion. They understand a woman's right to choose but we just take care of the children if a pregnancy happens.

In some ways I think there's some degrees of being traditional there, not necessarily conservative. It's also not "liberal" necessarily. I'm speaking of more southern blacks here as I said and those that aren't living in a major metro city so hope that I described the nuances I see well.
