I would say you were standoffish, but I'm reading that you have approached men in your past before, which leads me to believe that you might either be a loner or slightly awkward. The way you've seamlessly integrated yourself into the coli style of posting infers that it's probably a bit of both. What is your social life like outside of dating? Do you have girlfriends? Are they dating? Do you go out with them? If so then you should be able to attract a man within one of their social circles or at least have someone set you up on a date.

Also how old are the guys generally? If they are in their early 30s then perhaps you should give them a chance. Guys your age are usually looking for a certain 'mold' that you may not necessarily fill. I personally don't know too many sociable black guys that are into minecraft. Perhaps there is a certain social group on campus that you can join that shares similar interests to you. One thing that you shouldn't do is change who you are. You don't need to start rocking weave and Louboutins to be accepted. A man should like you for who you are.
