KD slightly better scorer. Bird better passer, rebounder, all around player, tougher mentally and physically. Bird never got on the phone with Magic/Kareem, Moses/Dr J, and Isiah, and asked to join their teams.

Why would he? He was already on a “super team”. He and Magic’s teams were stacked in comparison to the league and both were on marquee franchises.

Magic and Bird’s teams are arguably the most stacked teams sans the Warriors in league history.

To be fair, the one category that I think KD had Bird beat is scoring ability. I just think Bird overall is a better player.

KD is probably a better player at the end of the day, but that doesn't matter. He made a series of shyt decisions and generally acts like such a bytch that it pretty much fukked him when it comes to these talks.

He got lucky. Kevin’s rings don’t bother me here because I consider Bird to have played on “super teams” his entire career.

Kevin would never win a series averaging 15 points per game on 42% FG.

You need to research how the Celtics built their Bird led championship teams. Boston didn’t create a “Super Team”, they BUILT a team ORGANICALLY through drafts, free agency, and trades, not meeting Dr. J in the Hamptons to join a team that just went to back to back finals.

Kevin wouldn’t have never won 3 consecutive MVPs and 3 championships like Bird either.

Kevin was never considered the greatest player in the NBA at any time. Only Bron haters said such nonsense. But Bird was, multiple seasons. Ask Magic and Jordan.

Bird wouldn’t have left the Celtics after losing to the Sixers in the conference finals and join Dr. J and create a super duper team just to win rings either.

Bird wouldn’t have been disrespected publicly by a high valued role player and leave the team with his tail between his legs because he was told that they won without him and really didn’t need him. Only to join 2 more FORCED super teams and still not win.
