Ben Mathurin or Shaedon Sharpe would have made this team scary good as well because we lack a backup SG, but even a capable true sized backup SG would take this team to another level. I suspect if the Pelicans don’t trade for one, they’ll be drafting one, unless the Lakers pick is top 2. Hopefully they’ll use the full MLE on signing a SG specialist next summer.

I doubt Zion is gonna be 100% in the clear just by the nature of his game and how explosive he is. I hope he can play 70 games but I don’t see it

These last 2 games have proved that they need another interior defender. Nance can't be the only one. If Hayes doesn't show much till deadline, they will have to make a move. Jonas was unplayable tonight due to a shooting big. I like Poetl as a cheap option who might be willing to play backup too.
