Its the truth. Most mixed people look like a mixture of both races.

why do some blacks get upset about biracials wanting their own category? how could you expect most of the people in the vid to call themselves just black?
most biracials dont feel just 'black' and aren't just 'black'. if you are a proud black person this shouldn't anger you.

Don't make me pull up your old quotes from when you were claiming there is no benefit to being blackwhat do you mean by mixed people are in demand? and you don't know what you're talking about. Most of us love black people and our black side, but we have a different experience and another side us that we want to embrace as well.

Thought I was going to see mad redbone, yellowbone, lightskin, bright hoes ,this shyt is a huge disappoint
Nobody is upset about it, or at least I don't see why anyone would be upset about it. If you don't fully identify with either race that's totally fine and if you don't like being labelled as black ley\t it be known. Just don't jump the fence and claim to be either or when the situation is in your favour.
I think a lot of it has to do with what that lil girl said. Its like you all are ashamed & not proud. Plus if you are wandering and someone provides a 'home' for you & you suddenly say. this ain't my home...Its not good enough for me. The person that provided a space for you will first give you the & then the
You know that our relationship offline can end right here and right now. Don't make me expose you to those folks that don't know youPlease pull it up! don't lie on me you know thats bs
I don't understand black people like wtf, how does me embracing my white side mean i am ashamed of my black half. I don't think its less than or not good enough. Saying I want to be addressed as 'biracial' doesn't mean im thinking 'eww don't call me black i'm better than that'. Most mixed people are NOT thinking that.
Yes, they are. Ask a part black male or female how they're treated in our society. Before slavery and the beginning of America, the concepts of white and black were just observations rather than social/economic/cultural concepts. So called part blacks are black. They endure the same racist system that white identity (which birthed black identity, mind you) benefits from. This is like the 5th thread on this video.
And biracials aren't black.
Nah there's a misunderstanding. I'm not saying you can't speak on black issues for instance as you can discuss how you are affected by an incident. However, the problem comes to play when you take the positive and leave out the negatives. Your only black when it favours you type of deal. I know people personally who do that.I think that's where the problem arises..why cant biracials embrace both half of themselves? Saying I'm biracial shouldn't mean i'm not allowed to embrace my black half. that half is still very much a part of me just as my white half.
