Stem Cell Therapy Centers are a thing already.

They are not overly popular, but I've read reviews that left me like:

:ohhh:

Sounds like they are steps away from taking blood from babies. They are already killing them.

Try to save your life and you will lose it.
:scust:

i get the feeling they are going to try and "grow" it...mortifying to think about :sadcam:

They are not talking about stem cells.

In the last six years, Alkahest has identified more than 8,000 proteins in the blood that show potential promise as therapies. Its efforts and those of Grifols have resulted in at least six phase 2 trials completed or underway to treat a wide range of age-related diseases, including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

technically it makes sense
I'm not a scientist but looking and being old is based on how much oxygen you have consumed throughout the years right?
younger people have less oxygen in their blood than old people so doing a transfusion would get rid of the oxygen cells or something

Pretty sure they already know it can. They just need to find out how to mass produce the (bio) technology.

I've read up on this here and there.

Once we get the stem cell biotech down, it's over.

dying of old age that is.

the earliest Tech billionaires are turning 60 this decade, Baby Boomers are turning 70 and 80, and they pumping big money into immortality and rejuvenation business (which will be worth $250 millio by 2024). Google an even has their own thing

human longevity has slowly been inching upwards. kids born in the 90s/00s in wealthy 1st world ountries have a life expectancy of 90+ years

they said a perfect human body can last up to 125 yeas... but as we all know, quality of life for many people deteriorates after like age 75. who wants to be on 20 pills a day after to be helped by a nurse?

anybody interested in this, here's a podcast by the author for a book that came out last year. it really sounds like an inevitability.
