These dudes straight up shytted on Savage.. I didnt like it at all... They should have gotten DDP on there to talk about their feud which was one of the best of 97.

They made it like he was this insecure lunatic simp. Plus they had people chiming in that really had no serious connection to him.. Why that CAC Rosenberg there? Bubba Sponge?

Then about Liz. With all of that bullshyt going on in the lockeroom at the time, I wouldn't blame Savage for not wanting Liz around that bullshyt

Not just Savage, but Piper too low key. They made it seem like both were typical 80s wrestlers who took whatever drug got passed to them and were ticking time bombs/ burning the candles at both ends.

Ion’t like that shyt. :patrice:

It felt like Piper’s got treated with more love and respect. I watched his episode coming out of it with an understanding and respect for him that I never really had before because truthfully I never really liked him like that. Even if it showed the less than savory side of him, it balanced out by showcasing what a good father and family man he was.
The Savage one I’ll probably never finish. It feels like a hit piece and the involvement of Hoegan and Bubba the Love Sponge completely puts me off of it.

Piper has admitted that much about himself though. He basically said in the day you wrestled then after the match you went and drank with the boys. In the morning you took some coke to get going and deal with the hangover and get to the gym, you took some more to get to the arena and get to the match. And afterwards when the batch was done you'd try to go back to your room to get some sleep until one of the boys would say let's go drinking. Piper said he wasn't going to live long. So to include that wasn't a hit piece or a stretch.
