I can see why he gave respect to the producers he mentioned in that group, that's cool. Their sound is really unique, but on the other hand also producers he called out developed their own sound with time. It's hard to define originality using bink's logic. Looking like that almost everybody is a copy of someone else.He's right though.
He's been saying this for awhile. And if we're being honest, he's on point. There was a point when you had to have your own sound. And if your shyt sounded like someone else's, you'd be crucified in Hip Hop. Originality started dying around the late 90's and everyone started shifting to whatever sound was popular at the time. If it sold, then producers would jack that sound and run with it. But this is really what separates the greats for the average random "producer" these days.
