Breh that's just your experience. Plenty of dudes have directly been insulted and rejected for things like their height, frame, being fat. Just because YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Why is my experience more invalid than someone like yourself who says he's seen this happening? How tall are you? Is this something that has happened to you, and if not about height, is it some other physical characteristic you've been insulted about?

Because this reads as if you believe my experience is invalid because I say that for 34 years and the scores of shorter brothers I've known, this hasn't been an issue......but your experience or the people you know, it is very valid to you..

I maintain that brothers secure within themselves aren't affected, afflicted, concerned by this, or this even happens to them...

I mean she's definitely generalizing, but how is it not true? Her body was talked about constantly her entire career, no matter what she wore. Because....why? People called her fat when she was pretty fukking normal and covered up all the fukking time, and I'm talking millions upon millions of people talking about her weight. Whereas someone like 50 Cent or Kanye West is the same build as her on their best days, yet it hardly was talked about until they got washed and for-real chubby, and even then the discussion was come and gone.

You could have Snoop Dogg or Jimi Hendrix be skinny as fukk, or Biggie and Pun be huge, Prince or Paul Simon are damn near midgets....no one cares. At most it's a side convo, it's never the dominant conversation about them like it was for her.

This site is the only place I've ever seen anyone try to claim that men's bodies are talked about at anything like the rate that women's bodies are talked about.
the difference is those men are in male centric markets, and the majority of men do no judge or support men based on their appearances. Gather women's opinions on male strippers or soap opera actors or something women fervently participate in to see how a man's appearance impacts his career.

In reality the average woman typically enforce more 'beauty' or desirability standards on men than the other way around. When women talk about beauty standards, they're talking about getting on tv or being a model...something the average dude does not control nor cares for. If you've ever been close enough with a woman to where she's comfortable sharing the conversations she has with her friends, you'll quickly realize women say and think some fukked up shyt about people when it comes to physical appearance.

Women don't even believe the shyt she said, even if they agree with it online.

We can keep acting like this isn't a thing, but all the social issues we have will never clear themselves up if we continue acting like women are the only victims in dating and desirability standards.

This is literally exactly what she's talking about.

This is what actual 30-year-old male celebrities look like:

And this is the 21yo girl whose appearance has been repeatedly mocked throughout the thread and told she looks like a man, 30, ugly, fat, whatever.

Nah, behind closed doors women roast men. They're ruthless.
I was with my sister one year doing sound setup for a bachelorette party and she was talking to the client liaison while I was stuck in with the bride and her wedding party they were shytting on the groom the whole time. :wow:

I’m back there hooking up the wires thinking to myselflike “you about to marry this guy and you talking about him like this?” :dwillhuh: :mindblown:

Plan was to divorce him after five years once they had a kid and bought a house. Baby just arrived this year.

Before yall get furious, remember this is a person whose birth year starts with a 2. She literally hasn't lived long enough to know what she's talking about. Nor has she ever been a man. She's only speaking about her experience and the people she's been around.
Came in here to say this

Billie Ellish knows very little about the real world yet

I never said your experience was invalid, cmon breh don't do that.

I'm just saying that YOU can't imply "I've never experienced it, therefore its not a problem" or then say "people who are secure with themselves don't have these problems".

Personally I've had comments about my body when dirty bulking, unsolicited. And I've had friends I've seen get height shamed. I've seen female friends, family members, classmates etc. Openly state dislike for short men, make fun of small dikks, make fun of fat people. Even in class and teachers didn't give a shyt :dead: you really have never seen women say shyt before breh? Really?

I'm not invalidating your experiences. I'm saying you shouldn't invalidate others'.

Ironic that those were the two comments almost immediately above yours. And plenty earlier in the thread were even worse.

Black women in particular are criticized constantly for their face, their lack of hair, their build, the size of their ass (too big or not big enough), the size of their breasts, the size of their feet, and plenty of other shyt that ain't in their control. Look at even public figures whose work has NOTHING to do with their appearance. AOC is constantly either mocked because of her teeth or instead objectified and inserted into fake porn. MTG is made fun of for being ugly. Michelle Obama was criticized for her arms being too muscular, then had the internet calling her a trans man in a wig. Every teens and 20s actress in Hollywood who isn't anorexic is called fat, at 30 they're called cracked and washed, and by 40 they have to kiss any romantic roles goodbye. Meanwhilemen in their 50s and 60s are regularly playing love interests with women in the 20s and 30s. [and just two comments below me, like clockwork another male poster mocks her appearance and claims she looks too old.]

Also, weird to tell a woman she's criticized because she hasn't "controlled" her weight when the whole thing about Billie Eilish was that as a teeneger she was constantly fat-shamed on the internet even though she was a normal weight.
