Don’t take that list serious. It’s clearly compiled by people that don’t have extensive music knowledge, and included certain albums because they “had to”, regardless of whether the album cover is actually great.
Right off the rip, Abbey Road should probably be number one.
But the fact that Elvis’ debut album is #9, and London Calling is #16 is baffling. For London Calling to be that high on the list, when it’s an homage to Elvis’ cover should mean that Elvis should be in the top five, right?
Like I said, don’t take this list serious, it’s a lame workaround of a Rolling Stone list.
