Oh my.

So, one is a pop artist and the other is hiphop

According to the yts
:ehh:
The billboard awards's winners are determined based on Billboard chart performance during the eligibility period, which starts in 2023, Kendrick didn't have an album out :dead:. Drake even won purely based off FATD. Kendrick is winning BBA hiphop in 2025 with GNX (2024) for sure...

The Billboard's biggest pop star is based on not only the performances but also the impact within the calendar year.

Drake fans are slow. Soon they'll be comparing 2025 grammy to 2020 mtv awards

I don’t care about none of that

Drake won the “hip hop” award

Kenny won the “pop star” award

And yall in here dancing through the streets about what these cacs got to say. :mjlol:

So you're saying a hip hop star got bytch smacked and shytted on by a pop star? The hip hop star. Lost horribly. To a pop star.

nikka, no matter which way you slice it, it makes y'all look bad. I don't know what's so hard about conceding and moving on instead of looking for some phyrric victory that doesn't exist

Looking at that list, I would argue these:

2001- Alicia Keys >>>> Jennifer Lopez in 2001. You could also argue Destiny's Child

1996- The Fugees

2003- 50 Cent. Outkast is also arguable. I'd put Beyonce 3rd.

2007- Kanye and Chris Brown

2013- Justin Timberlake. Album did nearly 1 million first week. "Suit & Tie" was huge and "Mirrors" was bigger. As weak as it is, there was Jay's "Holy Grail" featuring Justin Timberlake and he was also involved in Beyonce's self titled album. Miley Cyrus was all gimmicks.

In 96 Morrisette was the biggest thing on earth

01 is fair, but you gotta understand that it's not just record sales, it's also impact on pop culture. J Lo was everywhere man

1996. No. Alanis clears anyone that year

07: Ye I'll definitely agree with but still, no.

13: I definitely agree here.
