Not even ten replies and nikkas are already crying 😭
:comeon: Bruh as a nikka who regularly keeps up with the Billboard charts every week, this shyt is insulting to my intelligence. Sabrina Carpenter definitely had the biggest year on the charts & should've been #1. I'm starting to believe the conspiracy theories that Kendrick is being propped up so the labels can keep Drake in-check.

I can dissect that list and come to the same conclusion for everyone. Pop culture is weird like that...like for example if you weren't there you'd think Diddy in 1997 was absurd. But if you were there it makes sense. It's not just about sales, it's also pop culture, and if you think Kendrick wasn't the most talked about artist this year you're delusional

Drake fans being mocked on social media again...they were trying to act like Drake won the billboard music awards for rap, forgetting the eligibility period... drake dropped during that period, while most of kendrick material dropped outside of the eligibility period.

Don't think I've ever seen a fanbase taking more L's..........

Looking at that list, I would argue these:

2001- Alicia Keys >>>> Jennifer Lopez in 2001. You could also argue Destiny's Child

1996- The Fugees

2003- 50 Cent. Outkast is also arguable. I'd put Beyonce 3rd.

2007- Kanye and Chris Brown

2013- Justin Timberlake. Album did nearly 1 million first week. "Suit & Tie" was huge and "Mirrors" was bigger. As weak as it is, there was Jay's "Holy Grail" featuring Justin Timberlake and he was also involved in Beyonce's self titled album. Miley Cyrus was all gimmicks.

Kendrick 100% earned this

This nikka had J.Cole, Lil Wayne, and SNOOP DOGG publicly apologizing after they saw how he thoroughly alienated the most popular rapper of the last 15 years. I don’t think people really understand how insane that is. Nas was feared but nikkas still tested him every now and then after Ether. Jay was feared but people still tested him every now and then after Takeover. 50 was feared but people still stood up to him. NOBODY actually wants it with Kendrick right now except for maybe Lupe Fiasco and Lupe been quiet as a church mouse when it comes to saying Dot’s name after NLU dropped.

This nikka got a grown ass man SUING his record label because he can’t come to grips with the fact he got so thoroughly bytch slapped.

nikka is about to win MULTIPLE Grammy awards off a song calling said man a pediphile. And THEN perform it at the biggest event of the year.

There can be no argument that Kendrick Lamar is the biggest artist of the year. His music was literally the soundtrack to Pop Culture
