If Bret doesn't put over Austin in the first place (they have always been good friends and had a good working relationship) Austin doesn't get to the level he reached... especially when you factor in how important the Mr. McMahon character became and that was created out of Bret/Vince...

Austin was a tremendous talent but everyone needs a guy to help them get over. For Austin it was Bret. For Bret it was his match against Mr. Perfect at SummerSlam.

There's not being a fan/disliking a wrestler for legit reasons.....and then there's the shyt this dude just spewed out

The sad part is, he actually doesn't sound any worse than the average IWCer when talking about Cena, or Michael Cole. Will go on and on about how they're so horrible, not good at their role in any way and act like they have absolutely no redeeming qualities.....yet somehow Cena's one of the most successful wrestlers in recent years despite being nothing but garbage in every single aspect of being a wrestler :rudy:.....and Cole's pretty much the main announcer for the product now and has been in our ears for a very long time, despite being a 100% shytty announcer that's far worse than Mike Adamle ever was :rudy:

Of course they both have their flaws, and there may be other people who filled in (or could fill in) their positions better....but when you act like they have nothing BUT those flaws and somehow miraculously maintained their positions despite them, then you're just being a blind hater.....which is worse than almost anything else

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
i'm as big a simmons fan as anybody but he's wrong about 2 things; bret didn't sell out, he was kinda pushed out because vince couldn't afford his 20 year 20 million dollar contract. and bret was very instrumental in stone cold being elevated to the top, that feud topping off with the double turn at WM 13 was one of the greatest moments ever. bret's had quite a few memorable moments, but for the most part he was boring. his ring style was bland, and her interviews were even more bland. the only time he really ever had any personality was when he was the Canadian heel.

:dwillhuh: I still don't know why he applies the Patrick Ewing theory to Bret when it should actually apply to Michaels. :pachaha: RAW literally took over the ratings right when Michaels "retired". WCW probably should have and would have finished off the WWF at Starrcade 97 in addition of stealing Bret Hart away from the WWF, but somehow found a way to completely fukk it up. :snoop:

Lol at Bret being a sellout. He turned down more than double the money from WCW in 1996 for the 20 year deal where Vince promised him the office job after retirement. "Family" and all. Bret and Shawn starts to hate each other, have the locker room brawl, now Vince claims "poverty" a year into the contract and tells Bret to see if Bischoff still had the WCW deal on the table. Sellout.

I love how you inserted Micheal Cole into this.
Cole is garbage. Get over it. And your bad analogy would have been complete had you replaced Cena with another favorite of yours, Miz.

Yep - people stay revising history when it comes to Michaels.
