The Pistons weren’t going to 3-Peat. Isiah’s wrist injury rendered him washed. He was the heart and soul of the team and was 13/8 on 40% FG in the ‘91 playoffs.But they're not, so what does that tell you? The Bulls stopped their 3peat and went on to win 6 championships.
The Bulls were much better and younger, a 62 win team vs. a 50 win team. By that point Dumars was the best player. The Pistons weren’t expected to 3-Peat they were washed by then.
I'd feel a type of way no doubt. I do think it's disingenuous to say the Bulls needed help to win or needed outside help to beat them. The Bulls were the better team that season.

Bron stans are pathetic. They got an excuse for every player that claims Jordan's the greatest, but the ones that say he isn't are the obvious truth tellers.
If they played against jordan and say he's the GOAT (Hakeem, Nique, Barkley, Drexler, Bird, Magic, Reggie), bron stans say they're just saying that to boost themselves and their era up.
If they grew up watching mj, played against him and claim he's the GOAT (AI, KG, ray, kobe), bron stans say they were brainwashed and speaking from nostalgia.
If they played after mj and claim he's the GOAT (Wade, Zion, luka), they're also brainwashed.
