none of that is a default requirement of EV's . everything you're describing is possible because of a lack of regulation and an industry drive for more revenue generating features.

a lot of what you're describing was happening with ICE vehicle's first. the age of the smartphones has shown corporations that consumers can be finessed out of their privacy with the introduction of new tech and few regulations.

I agree with most of your post, especially in regards to ICE vehicle producers. I disagree on regulation. A lot of the problems are BECAUSE of government, not in spite of it. There's so much software in cars largely because of emissions standards. We need to get rid of government's ability to grant favors. I think the best way, while radical, is the gradual abolition or reform of patents and most IP laws that allow such rent seeking behavior in the 1st place.

They are going to send the rate of electric through the roof breh. Not only that, but stopping for an hour every 300 miles on a road trip to recharge and hoping all the plugs arent already taken will be trash. Not to mention it takes natural resources to produce electric, unless the charging stations will be solar farms. I’m actually for electric vehicles and hope to get one soon but the infrastructure needs to be built up severely before they start mandating everyone go to EVs.

You definitely right. EVs are not perfect today, but Tech always gets better and cheaper over time. The range on EVs will increase, more power stations will have to pop up and more renewable sources will have to get used.

Biggest problem imo is how energy markets are currently structured. The way its currently setup we're just going to end up with the same few monopolies when electricity prices should be cheaper as renewable energy make it cheaper to produce

Plus you can add solar panels at your home to support a self charging station, that way you won’t feel the electric bump to your bill. I can see them restricting home solar panels soon as these cars go off grid. They aren’t gonna lose all that potential money with people self charging at home off grid.

That's why I try to eat humane raised meat..grass fed pasture raised...I like my chicken cage free..preferably pasture raised or free range.


It gets harder to do that if you order takeout so I try to limit me ordering takeout to just the weekend I get my. Paycheck.
