Next to Christine Quinn he's the worst candidate possible. He has always been one of those "there aint enough welfare" type of politicians.

Lhota all day!

NYC's black population has been shrinking since 1990. Losing about 20,000 brehs a year.... basically 1 zip code in Brooklyn every summer:merchant:

You know that's his son, right? He says it in the commercial... he's not just some random Black kid they found on the street. You've been talking about him "hugging a few Black people" as if he's never seen any before when he has a Black wife and kids.
In your entire life, have you encountered a person who so aptly encompasses the phrase, "know-nothing"?

I've always been wary of the "growing income inequality" picture that is painted for NYC. Reason being cause I know my entire community was a part of NYC middle class in the 90s. We were/are the families that crossed into LI for access to better school systems. So I'm like eh....saying the middle class "disappeared" seems a little disingenuous (though its true when the area discussed is defined by geography).

Secondly, and I have to read up on this, addressing inequality across the city is going to require a borough by borough approach. So although the mayor must take the first step, the borough presidents have to be competent. With that said, I'm watching the Queens Borough president race. (nikkas like :ohhh: so there's a mayoral race AND the borough presidents race at the same time. Why ain't the news talking about those folks either :lupe:)
