while we waiting for the court transcripts, i just read that cosby speech for the first time...where is the c00nery in that speech someone please point them out to me and i will try understand since im not american or been to america.

Basically nikkas don't like being told NOT to shuck and jive. A lot of these muthafukkas are complacent with the goings-ons of the world and don't mind looking like complete buffoons for the world to see. Any brotha or sista that opposes to certain things is deemed non-Black because... reasons.

This type of criticism could help tremendously if the black community listened.

I’m not talking about white supremacy, but more so helping with the amount of respect & love that we give to people that look like ourselves. It’s really the difference between macro & micro. Cosby is focusing on the micro aspect (i.e. what we can do to avoid the potholes of white supremacy). Both POV (macro/micro) are need but everyone does not have the passion/knowledge to fight both sides of the situation. And nothing is wrong with that, IMO.

@The Wave I get your point about the audience diminishing the purpose of the message. I just feel like (1) the truth is still the truth, (2) we are rarely in spaces without others and/or snitchers and (3) in the age of videotape & exposures, this was bound to get out to the masses anyway.

Overall, I do agree that this message should be an in house conversation, but I question the feasibility of an in house conversation actually happening due to the reasons listed above.
