I think we as a society are at a point where we are jumping to conclusions WAY TOO FAST.

Social media and the 24 hour news cycle have set off a scandal witch-hunt and no one is safe. And if they are starting with celebrities, that shyt will trickle down.

I dont know if Bill did those things or not. I need to see some evidence, or at least more than word. If a police report wasnt filed within the 10 or so year statute of limitations, I cannot condone them trying to do this now.

the chickens are coming home to roost for Don Lemon.

The only people who really get the worst effects of this are black figures. We mentioned the Lena Dunham situation and what she did was far worse than Cosby AND she admitted to it in her top selling book.

Were there rumors about Cosby and rape throughout the years ala R.Kelly/young girls or Mr Cee and Trannies? Because I don't ever remember hearing about Cosby like that. This whole thing is bizarre and weird. It just reeks of witchhunt. Even more so now that Janice dikkenson has popped up

yeah they always wanted to get this hugely successful show off the air because corporations don't care about money

When it comes down to it, corporations would have no problem sacrificing money to sabotage positive black media images. They have the leverage to do that to the Cosby Show in 2014.

nah, capitalists aren't evil movie villains, they're capitalists and ultimately they're out to make money

plus it's not like corporations are opposed to taking positive or even subversive images and commercializing them

like why do you think filmmakers like melvin van peebles criticized blaxploitation movies? because he saw it as white filmmakers and producers using racial issues to turn a profit (he claims that Shaft was originally written as a white detective but once people saw the success of Sweet Sweetback's Baadassss Song they jumped on board)

:wow:

but that's how it happens though

as a man, I'm sure that I can't understand the feeling of being taken against my will and sexually assaulted...

and I have nothing but sympathy for TRUE rape victims

but in my experience, there are a lot of women in these streets that will cry WOLF when there really isn't one

women have lied to me in the past and told me that this man or that man sexually assaulted them...

and then after so long, as they relayed to me the events that went down, most of the time it turned out that the stuff was consensual

so here's my rule of thumb whenever I encounter this in the future

in my experience, women who have been raped don't smile about it, they don't joke about it, and they don't take it lightly... there's a gravity to the situation that you just can't fake

but when you meet a girl and she's all matter-of-factly, "yeah, this guy raped me" and then goes back to talking about Basketball wives 2 min later... I just don't think she was really raped

y'all gotta remember, ppl out here got mental issues... and you got some of these women that see other women that were REALLY raped, and they look at it and see all the attention that the real rape victim is getting, and how she's being cared for and all

and they ENVY it

So what's the next step?

"Oh I can say I got raped too"

It doesn't even come into their mental logistics that they're destroying the life of somebody

I've seen women do this, brehs, no lie

everybody that say they got raped, didn't really get raped.

Yeah that last sentence could be worded a little bit better. I can see somebody misinterpreting it but I get what you are trying to get people to understand.

lipstick alley is more credible than you think a lot of people that work in the media and see things behind the scenes post info there. but it was pretty clear on film also, lisa would look uncomfortable in certain scenes around bill, body language tells a lot.

Uncomfortable enough to be the star of his spinoff show(a different world) and come back on the show years later? Maybe she looked uncomfortable because she was a terrible actress and shes an absolute weirdo(I think her name is lenonekna sunmoon or some shyt now)
