The jewelry thing is not as big as people are making it out to be. Artists often used the same jewelers and if they weren't custom pieces, it was nothing to get pieces that looked exactly like another artist's. Also, artists didn't necessarily own the pieces they were rocking in the photo ops. It was for the photo shoots.

I really don't care about Biggie's innocence during a beef that's been discussed longer than both of them were alive. My point is, that the pieces Biggie was rocking weren't some exclusive pieces. They were pretty generic '90's pieces. This wasn't uncommon. As previously stated, Pac was not tight lipped about calling people out. Of everything he said about Biggie, why would he conveniently not diss Biggie for rocking jewelry that was stolen from him? I mean of everything else, that would've implicated Biggie and been the most damaging and scathing accusation he could've made. Not only would it have made Biggie look like a clown, his credibility would have destroyed. Imagine Biggie rocking jewelry stolen from what was now a crime scene.

It’s very possible that Pac never even saw the performances or pics. Pac was locked up while mad of this shyt was going on if u don’t remember. Who knows. I can maybe give him the benefit of the doubt if the nikka didn’t hop on the radio and get them clapped at in NY. If THAT didn’t destroy Biggie’s credibility than nothing else would. People still till this day brush over it like it was no big deal and sometimes even act like it didn’t happen. U don’t understand alotta Biggie fans and people close to him HATE Pac. Even till this day. They protect Biggie’s image no matter what which is admirable. I wish PAC’s people were the same way but they tend to keep it 100 when it comes to Pac. Yet someone Biggie fans keep talking like “Pac is God to Pac fans and he can do no wrong”.. When outside of the fanatics. People on PAC’s side and his fans tend to be more realistic and on Biggie’s side this nikka is an angel and nikkas ignore logic. Media and everything has a hand in this.
It would have hurt Biggie's credibility because him rocking stolen jewelry implicates him in the robbery. That's much bigger than the jokes and him mocking Pac getting shot.
And even if Pac didn't see it, I'm sure he had people close to him that would've recognized Biggie rocking his jewelry.
I also wanted to mention nobody actually posting the jewelry Pac was rocking at the shooting. All the pictures of Pac rocking the jewelry are photo ops.

Pac called Nas the ringleader for very logical reasons:
1) Nas was the first non Wu member to appear on a Wu album when he appeared on "Verbal Intercourse"
2) Nas was also on Kool G. Rap's album
3) Nas was being heralded as rap's messiah
4) Nas appeared on Mobb Deep's Infamous album
5) Nas appeared on Dre's Aftermath compilation on a song called "East/West Killas"
6) Nas drops It Was Written and it features several artists that Pac was dissing including Mobb Deep, Lauryn Hill, and Dr. Dre (who is on the intro to "Nas Is Coming" throwing shots). There's also the introduction of The Firm, which Dre was kind of a part of.
^^^ knowing all this, Nas looks more of a ring leader than Biggie. Nas has enough clout to pull in a beat from Dre at the height of the East vs. West tension. Not to mention, he also has beats from Stretch. Nas looked more of a threat than Biggie. I'm not saying Nas purposely was like, "I'm gonna put all these pieces together and go at Pac". It just happened that way, and to someone who really looked at it as war, how could he not think Nas wasn't the ringleader?
Pac recklessness put both of them in dangerous situations with real gangstas. Big is a small time hoodlum. What is he supposed go do against career criminals like Jimmy and Haitian Jack. Go to war and put his way out the streets in jeopardy? That’s why Bug told him not to fukk with those goons in the first place…especially as an out of towner.
