Exactly. Banks has sort of had a great career path. Saw a lot of fake and money right before the industry went to shyt. Saved his bread. Puts out material on his own timeline. Is indebted to no one. Has enough fame in the world to enjoy some of the perks without having to suffer as many of the downsides.

Banks level famous is like the most famous I'd want to be. Just enough for maybe a few people a week to dap you up and say they appreciate you, and for some quality DMs lol.

Banks has always been low key too. Dude used to barely speak. Him being a super A-list rapper doesn't even compute. They had to force him to make videos.

Yea u can make the case that both Dro and Banks are just content with where they are...but I still think both coulda had a higher peak if they wanted too

Banks is no underachiever. He was never gonna be 50, he was never gonna be jay z. He's had a solid 16+ year career and dropped one of his best albums last year in Halloween Havoc III. He's still signed, people still give him love, still does shows. I never see his name brought up when speaking of rappers who fell off. Banks, in my opinion, had one of his best years in 2017. I mean shyt, I listen to him now more then 50.
