Biggest Underachiever: Lloyd Banks or Young Dro

Since we're living in a time that's dominated by the south, it would have to be Young Dro

If this was the early 90's, when New York was more prominent, it would definitely be Lloyd Banks

I always thought Young Dro had the potential to be much bigger, very charismatic dude

Good thread.
Two people i had alot of hope for. Dro first album is very slept on. I can actually listen to it straight through and Banks had alot of potential as well. Actually hard for me to decide but ima go with Banks.
As others said tho, Santana is definitely in that category as well

im saying dro cuz i feel like banks stays low, but is taken care of and just chillin. banks has inconsistent output but his stuff he drops is usually strong, and you dont hear about him fukkin up in the streets at all. i imagine he just chills and lives off the interest from his g-unit run and the occasional walk-thru, smoking loud and runnin thru honeys weekly. but i could be way off

i feel like dro could be strugglin in a few years cuz of the lack of consistent output. he was killin with a lil mixtap run in the late aughts, but he hasnt really dropped anything memorable in awhile and has a buncha personal issues that prolly hindered his progress.

Banks could've done more but He has 2 albums I love (HFM1 and 2) which both performed relatively well. Loads of quality mixtapes (group and solo)

If he had social skills he would've taken advantage of Kanye West love for him around MBDTF

I remember that breakfast club interview where Dro said TI had to take him to rehab cuz he was wildin so much. Dro definitely has charisma he could pull a 2 chainz if he really got focused & started grinding hard. I think the drugs got to him tho
