Album is growing on me...there isn't a single track I dislike.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is such a quality jam. Probably wanted more songs like that, but every song jams.

We have to stop comparing this project to the others and just judge it based off what is. Which is a damn good first effort from K.R.I.T.

one thing i noticed about this album, he doesn't have those moments in the songs that make you feel like rapping along. he doesn't have the

save the ho
Cape crusader at her service aidin' ho
Damn the ho, blame the ho
For the same sh*t you paid her fo
What you mean you ain't nasty, why the fukk you came...

and so on. he doesn't have those moments on there. and the lyrics weren't bad but nothing that blew your mind, nothing that made you want to rap along, nothing that really gets you hyped. he tried but it was just blah...same thing with the choruses.

he just seems burned out. like he gave most of what he had for the earlier projects and on this one he's trying to force the creativity to come out trying to remake the type of songs he made earlier. except that like someone else said, almost any song on this album you could find a song in the same lane in his earlier projects except 2X better.

i will donate money for his earlier mixtapes cause he did bless us multiple times with great free albums. but i will DEFINITELY not buy this album. i wouldn't want him or the labels to think that this album is what we want.

If only What U Mean didn't have that damn :flabbynsick: Luda verse. :noah:

Yeah Luda is just :snoop:. As soon as he says "LUDA!" on that track I'm shaking my head cause dude was one of my favorites..Word of Mouf is a personal classic.

But yeah this hasn't left the whip since I bought it Tuesday. I've went through the entire thing at least five or six times. I wish there were a little bit more tracks like the last two or three cause it seems like its all jam shyt until you get near the end. Still would rank this fourth but it's not bad at all. Quick question at the end of Sub pt 2 is it supposed to be KRIT getting shot/robbed for his sub? That shyt has me like :weirdo: each time cause the gun shot or whatever catches you off guard.

I was thinking more along the lines...he met a chick in the strip club on "Money on the Floor," called her up to chill on "what U Mean," and on "My Sub," she set that nikka up to get robbed. Next thing you know at the end of "My Sub," a screwed up version of "Last night my DJ Saved my Life" comes on where I'm guessing the dude he was talking to on the phone before he got robbed was able to find him shot because his music was still playing in the car, that's when "Don't Let Me Down" kicks in. Just my interpretation :manny:

It was underwhelming at best. I don't know the backstory behind making the album but it felt rushed. It wasn't as polished as KRIT's mixtapes. Maybe his previous efforts spoiled me but I couldn't get into this album. 4eva n a day was much better.
