When I think about hip hop...I don't remember getting any of the type of homo feel until those ruthless record, death row, badboy days...before that when boot camp click and tribe called quest and old school hip hop reigned there was NO thought of any of that. Gangster rap brought in jail culture and along with it came gay name calling etc....for example snoop talking bout someone being a frisco-dyke(never really heard the term before that honestly)...from run dmc - delasoul I never heard or got that vibe. Big daddy Kane rakim krs1 etc. NEVER came off like that. Actually I don't remember pac comin off like that earlier in his career. Not til gangster rappers started dissing each other did homo jargon REALLY enter into the game. Not saying no one was suspect during that time, but it wasn't poppin' at all. You'd have to be ignorant to think just because it is/was taboo to be gay EVERYWHERE damn near at the time that there were no gays in Hip Hop undercover or otherwise. Now people are more accepting (a good thing, my opinion though, no argument) and Hip Hop is probably one of the last places where there is still a lack of an outlet for an openly gay artist to be mainstream. I personally don't like even hearing rappers talk in detail about hetero sex unless it's some funny shyt. If you really giving me extra vivid details about your dikk in any capacity that isn't funny shyt I'm probably going to cringe (nas, prodigy ect.).
