Were the Jamaicans even around during the Frank Matthews days? IIRC we really start seeing Jamaican criminal gangs in the USA around the 80s and 90s. Frank Matthew days were the 60s and early 70s. I could be wrong.

Even though money was technically in the wrong, I heard a rumor that Meech put some money up for the funeral and had to smooth things over with some dudes up North.

Wouldn't be surprised. All in all BMF were some thoro nikkas, they just weren't killers like that. They were more about being smart and chasing that check which I honestly respect a whole lot more.

The Lil Scrappy joke aside he really wasn't a gangster tho. Big Meech and most of the rest of them BMF cats were just hustlers and business men. nikkas in the streets didn't fear BMF, they just had cheaper work than any other Black drug dealers so you really didn't have a choice but to shop with them. A couple of them BMF dudes got laid out and there really wasn't any retaliation.They wasn't on no "get down or lay down" type shyt they just came thru cities with numbers on the work that blew the competition out the water. And people always talk about Meech but his brother T was out in LA and he had just as much pull if not more than Meech did. He was the one dealing directly with the Cartel, BMF used Atlanta as its down south and east coast hub but all the work came from LA.

Once again, meech didnt sell cracc, he sold powder cocaine. and stop acting like only single black mothers smoke cracc. Once again, any form of cocaine, whether its powder or cracc, the over whelming majority are white.

You right but my thing is that if we are going to do it, then we may as well do it right. Drugs and the black market economy aint going no where. We might as well perfect it. Thats what I be telling these young dudes, I'm not trying to mentor them on some "stop what you doing" type shyt. I'd rather show them how to be low key, save money you make to transition to something else and always have pride in yourself and your community.
