No a young dude who sells drugs isn't automatically a savage. A young man who refuses to correct himself and glorifies the lifestyle is savage-like. His actions are savage because of the burden he places on his community. I have little respect nor mercy for individuals like Big Meech and bmf. They are part of the problem. Not only do they partake in the destruction of their own people, they celebrate it.
And as long as we as people continue to give people like him a pass we will remain stagnant in our progression.

IMO these modern day black crime organizations need to be like the Italian mob and be weary of the drug trade. While the drug trade is a big money maker it is also too risky. IMO they need to fall back on less risky ventures like gambling, prostitution, real estate, extortion, porn industry, bookmarker and white collar crimes.

I also notice that black crime organizations need better structure. When a leader gets arrested the organization usually falls into shambles with black crime organizations. Case and point Larry Hoover and the GD's.

Were the Jamaicans even around during the Frank Matthews days? IIRC we really start seeing Jamaican criminal gangs in the USA around the 80s and 90s. Frank Matthew days were the 60s and early 70s. I could be wrong.

I will give respect where it is due and outside of BMF, Detroit nikkas period put nikkas in my city on the out of town hustle. Eveything from the work to taxes. Outside of Boogalo Brown from the Best Friends getting murked at the Hilton in downtown Atlanta back in the early 90's or that boy KC from East Atlanta getting murked up in Detroit back in like '02 or '03, Atlanta and Detroit actually vibe together very well. A few of the cats in my circle back at the crib were from the D.

Even though money was technically in the wrong, I heard a rumor that Meech put some money up for the funeral and had to smooth things over with some dudes up North.
