Yeah I gave it 2 or 3 episodes to try to see how it set itself up post book material, and my initial skepticism after seeing the trailer and pre-season hype proved correct. This season exists to give Meryl an emmy.

I've given up on this season being "good drama" but I still think it has potential to be entertaining messy drama as it winds down. Hopefully they at least have some entertaining dominoes to knock down and it just doesn't end up on some mediocre note that fails to be poignant or entertaining.

I am absolutely not enjoying Meryl Streep being part of this cast...definitely a case of less is more

Edit: Im waiting for the bad twin to sell Celeste out :heh:
