I'm thinkin' that chick Ashley could easily drop 20 pounds but she stays at that weight because that's her bread and butter(pun included). Almost like how some offensive linemen in football will drop 30-50 pounds after they retire from the game. They only kept the weight on for their playing days and to make the team, not get cut, and make millions. If Ashley drops weight she'll definitely still be pretty but if she still wants to model then she has to compete with a whole different class of in shape- skinnier models. You just nailed it. If she wants to be a model she needs to maintain her current weight. If she lost weight she'd actually be doing harm to her career. She'd never be small enough to be a missy (small) size model. So she's staying in her lane and doing real well for herself.

The other thing that people don't understand is there are Instagram models and there are Fashion models. Ashley is a fashion model. She has to maintain a certain weight so that she can fit into the clothing the companies she is modeling for makes. Most the clothing she is modeling are samples that the vendor makes. These samples are on of a kind and haven't hit production yet. So if she can't fit into the clothing she isn't going to be used.
