As I said in numerous threads concerning NXT, it should have been just a developmental territory. Nothing more nothing less like the OVW/FCW days. Now it's basically a mouse trap for any indie wrestler that thinks that they will get over with the WWE package, but fail to see the grim reality that if you are not hitting on the big stage, "the bricks":camby:

That's actually how NXT was pre-Network, it was closer to OVW/FCW. Sami and Neville were like the only indie dudes on NXT Arrival. After that Trips went on a signing spree.

I always thought they were both trash but how you go from big push with Daniel Bryan to being released the next day? It just seems odd that he went from 100-0 so quick. Seems like such an impulsive reaction
Enzo went from Cruiserweight Champion to the unemployment line.

If they feel like they have a reason, they'll get you the fukk outta here. I doubt Cass did anything as bad as what Enzo was up to, but there have been rumors of management being unhappy with him for a while.

Enzo boosted the ratings of 205 and had the whole divison on his back. Always got pops and always moved merch as a tandem.

they overachieved if anything... name one good storyline they were in as a team... i'll wait.

They should have feuded with the New Day and got the rub. There was so much potential there and NOTHING.

As far as characters, they were red hot for a reason. All that other shyt u talking is nonsense cause they shouldnt have been broken up.

Cass aint a heel... just like Kevin Nash was never good until he was a tweener.

But thats besides the fact... THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BROKEN UP. I REPEAT...

THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BROKEN UP.

If they sucked as a team... whose good..?? TO YOU... The Revival? So who would you send on late night to promote WWE, Enzo and Cass or The Revival? Who would sell more shirts, who has more crossover appeal...

WHAT EXACTLY WERENT THEY GOOD AT?
Wrestling. Conducting themselves backstage. Cass' promos without Enzo were trash. Hell, sometimes he dragged Enzo's promos down.

Which teams were better? Uh, The New Day. The Usos. The Bar. The Shield when they got back together. The Hardys. You make it sound like Enzo and Cass were the only team that was over.

Nonsense? Again, the original argument was "Enzo and Cass went given a chance." There's no way you can look at their careers, be it as a team or as individuals, and say they weren't given chances. Well, you could, but it wouldn't be true. They got more than most do. I refuse to say they didn't get chances and a good push when they were on Raw every week while some people can barely get on Main Event. Literally the only thing they didn't get was the belts.

Even if you didn't agree with the company breaking them up (for the record, I also thought it was too early), you can't deny that the bookers did everything they could for them after the split.

The company was obviously invested in them. The fact is there was just a ceiling there, and whether it was because of their lack of talent in the ring or their behavior outside of it, Enzo and Cass were always going to fizzle out.
