Cause they just weren't that good.

Anyone saying Enzo and Cass didn't get chances are crazy. They were regularly featured on the 'A' show every week, put in matches against some of the best tag teams in the company, given the fukking MAIN EVENT spot when they broke up for multiple weeks, and Enzo was positioned to anchor the CWC division while Cass had his return feud against Daniel fukking Bryan. They had more time and chances than most get to show they could improve and become more than just a couple catchphrases and they never did. Add the fact that they were both apparently massive a$$holes backstage and I fail to see where the company is at fault.
I always thought they were both trash but how you go from big push with Daniel Bryan to being released the next day? It just seems odd that he went from 100-0 so quick. Seems like such an impulsive reaction

Enzo boosted the ratings of 205 and had the whole divison on his back. Always got pops and always moved merch as a tandem.

they overachieved if anything... name one good storyline they were in as a team... i'll wait.

They should have feuded with the New Day and got the rub. There was so much potential there and NOTHING.

As far as characters, they were red hot for a reason. All that other shyt u talking is nonsense cause they shouldnt have been broken up.

Cass aint a heel... just like Kevin Nash was never good until he was a tweener.

But thats besides the fact... THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BROKEN UP. I REPEAT...

THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BROKEN UP.

If they sucked as a team... whose good..?? TO YOU... The Revival? So who would you send on late night to promote WWE, Enzo and Cass or The Revival? Who would sell more shirts, who has more crossover appeal...

WHAT EXACTLY WERENT THEY GOOD AT?
Enzo didn't boost shyt for 205. They still were barely making the week's top 10 for WWE Network shows and the 205 Live house shows were a flop.

I don't really feel bad for Cass but I feel bad for tall and big guys cause there's really no market for them in wrestling outside of WWE. Wrestling is a little man's game outside of the E.

Not really, if you're talented you'll be fine :yeshrug:

The problem with Cass is he just isn't that good. He was a great hot tag after Enzo would get beat down for 10 minutes but he didn't offer anything past that. They were both screwed once they got split up since all Enzo could do was talk & all Cass could do was be tall, they didn't help themselves by being idiots though & ended up both speeding up getting let go.

Stop being emotional New Day vs Enzo and Cass should have been the fued at Wrestlemania New Day was the most over act they had til Strowman and for them to get a host of Wrestlemania was wack

Why the hell are you stanning for Enzo and Cass? You showing your lack of a business mind here. What I'm talking about is New Day and the Hardys are actually GOOD ACTS that can wrestle, talk and not cause issues backstage. Why would you sacrifice their heat to push Enzo and Cass when the absolute ceiling they had was a tag title run, when everyone in the New Day and the Hardys have much higher ceilings? It doesn't make sense.

Exactly. It kills me when folks think NXT= superstar, when in reality NXT is one big ass placebo. Wrestlers still got to embrace the WWE transition with open arms or else "the bricks":yeshrug:. At the end of the day, the shyt is all show business since Vince got a hard on for "entertainment".
its stupiid cause if nxt is their ameture/ncaa class why do they let them get over in nxt by just doing crazy spots but call them up and expect them to wrestle like a big man? If they insist on leaving guys in nxt because of touring then they should spend their time their learning how to be a wwe "superstar" and not a good wrestler. NXT is basically letting guys get over doing their indy stuff and not training them to be what vince wants..

Enzo and cass were trash but they were over and should have atleast one tag title run, their must have been some other reason for this

They should have just sent down to NXT. Instead of giving him a push he wasn't ready for. Did they say why they released him?

I haven't seen anything but apparently he wasn't happy losing to DB or some such nonsense

Maybe he had an ego from being 7 foot tall and was starting to believe his own hype:manny:

All speculation at this point but i'm looking forward to an actual explanation if one ever surfaces

As I said in numerous threads concerning NXT, it should have been just a developmental territory. Nothing more nothing less like the OVW/FCW days. Now it's basically a mouse trap for any indie wrestler that thinks that they will get over with the WWE package, but fail to see the grim reality that if you are not hitting on the big stage, "the bricks":camby:
