Hey now, let's not act like WWE doesn't fukk over most of their over acts.
Enzo & Cass were printing money.
They had MLB superstars rocking their shirts and doing "Certified G" shyt, but they're a petty ass company that simultaneously tells everybody that they're above wrestling, but then when they want an excuse to shyt on somebody, they resort to all these old carny rules to justify it.
No reason Enzo & Cass shouldn't be the multiple time tag team champs by now having crossover success into mainstream sports & entertainment
I agree with you that the WWE undercuts a lot of talent that should be more utilized than they are. Asuka, Nakamura, Owens, Benjamin, Rusev, Harper, and others. They play favorites. But there is a reason that neither Enzo or Cass are employed by the E anymore, and meanwhile guys like the above, as well as The Usos, The New Day, and The Bar are. The reason Enzo and Big Cass aren't around anymore is because they were two a$$holes who angered the wrong people. Funny enough they did it in their own ways without needing the other to bring one of them down.
They didn't do themselves any favors with their behavior and they both got a few chances. You can't blame the WWE for Enzo upsetting the locker room with his attitude, poor ring work, and bringing in friends backstage without permission snapping pics everywhere. Can't blame them for Enzo walking around with a singles belt, leading their spin off Cruiserweight show and at the same time being wanted for rape and hard drugs. You can't blame them when Cass injured himself out of the game and halted his own momentum. If I remember correctly, it was during their big break up angle which saw Cass hobbling out of the ring. They had to declare Enzo the winner of the match due to Cass quitting when by all rights Cass blew the whole finish. It looked bad as Cass quit one step before landing his big finisher, the walking elbow drop LOL. He cooled off and lost a lot of time. Can't blame the E for Cass coming back and being a moron beating up the Daniel Bryan midget when they specifically shot that down. Or for Cass breaking down a bathroom door and being publicly intoxicated, since they are a publicly traded company today. There was nothing good you can salvage from his second run. Bottom line, they didn't like him and everyone else on the roster can play their role better without the drama.
They could have played their hands better and listened more. They could still be with the company today and maybe even reunited to get that tag team championship run they never got. Instead, they got way too hot too soon and didn't know how to manage themselves. Enzo and Cass thought they were Golden Gods and had bad attitudes that hurt them. Really they're Janetty #1 and Janetty #2 right now. They were over and in line to get solid pushes, but their poor actions behind the scenes cut the legs out from under themselves and they're without jobs. They did it to themselves.
