Veto winner
Monte :salute:

If Taylor wins the game, she'll be the best social player Big Brother has ever seen. You don’t go from potential first boot to final 3 without putting in some serious work. If she wins the veto or last HoH, she'd tie with Monte for comp wins (assuming he doesn't win).

You could argue that she got some lucky breaks, but luck is always a factor in games like Big Brother and Survivor. Winners like Jordan, Rachel and dikk were way luckier than Taylor could hope to be. Without the CDT twist in 11, that BS Pandora's Box in 13, or America's player in 8, those players wouldn't have even touched the finals. Taylor earned her spot in the final 3, and if she makes it to final 2 she has this game on lock and deservedly so.
I agree with you on luck being a factor. The top players to ever play the game. Had some kind of luck. I always remember Derrick (BB16) bringing up in an interview I saw some years ago. He said "Guys, it takes a bit of luck to be a winner in that house." He explained how sometimes things will just fall in place in your favor.

As for "If Taylor wins the game, she'll be the best social player Big Brother has ever seen You don’t go from potential first boot to final 3 without putting in some serious work".

Definitely not true. Steve Moses from BB17 was a potential first boot, and on the bottom of the totem pole for most of his season. He won, and nobody even considers him a top 10 winner, yet alone the best social player.

Taylor got to where she at because of moves other people did. Which is great when you're the one in those people's ear manipulating them to make those moves. Taylor did no such thing all season except for planting the seeds to get Michael out. That's her only move I can recall. Her final 2 speech is likely going to be about how she was ostracized then made it to the end through her social game. But really it was the work The LO, Michael & Brittany, luck, and production put in that benefited her (nobody can tell me these people who HATED her suddenly want her to win because of her social game, there was definitely some interference).

Taylor or Monte LITERALLY goes home if Michael & Brittany doesn't expose Kyle in week 8.

Taylor aligning with the right people definitely saved her
Paloma walking, Pooch blindside, Joseph (25) rude awakening and shaking shyt up....
The Leftovers ran the house for about a month, then Dyrefest/BroChella, Turner gets HOH - Michael pulls out the Kyle news to save his side of the house...

If Kyle stays and that information doesn't get out, that side of the house would have been in power, and we're looking at a different final 4

Ok then do you think is the best social player? Who else has overcome the odds Taylor has and won?
What does over coming odds have to do with social game?

Off the top of my head Andy is the best social player I've ever seen. He was a snake but no one could see it and was everyone's number 1 ally.

Don't know what you and the other poster were talking about but Andy? As one of the best social players???? He had a good social game with certain people, but as a whole no. When I think of stellar social games, I'm thinking of Will, Boogie (no matter how you think of him now, dude was socially a beast), Dan, Derrick, Cody, and Tyler before Andy, lol.

:mjlol:

The same Will who was targeted throughout BB2 because of his lack of a social game? The same Boogie who was knocked out early in 2 out of his 3 games because his of a lack of a social game? And only won because of Will?

Will and Boogie's social game were so poor in BB2. They only hangout with the cool kids in chilltown. Thats why they were all targeted so early.

Dan who was hated in both of his games?

Tyler(first game), Cody(last game) and Derrick to a degree were great social players. Andy is definitely an elite social player. If you didn't watch the live feeds you wouldn't know.

It's important because people have to like you to want to keep you around. Outlasting all of her enemies (and romancing the other lol) is a testament to her social skill.

We are guaranteed a black winner.
I’m glad we’re getting two black winners back to back :obama:After some time, and out of the remaining players left. I have to say Monte deserve’s the win. I’m kind of conflicted though. I absolutely do not want the f2 to be two bros. I loved Cody’s All stars game, but that bros making it to the end together shyt needs to end there. I also would love to see Taylor win (contrary to how I feel about her game). But her fans (I know i keep mentioning it lol) makes me want to see her not win. So they don’t completely get their way. Which is fukked up, but they are a toxic ass fanbase that I feel like even Taylor herself is going to be like ”thank y’all, but you’re doing too much” after the season when they most likely attack the other hg online after getting bored with celebrating Taylor’s win, or afp win.

Next season I think black players is going to have to watch out though. Especially if Monte wins. I can hear it now “Watch out for him. The tall dark and handsome guy always wins”. I said last season’s thread there was probably going to be some kind of lowkey retaliation this season. Thankfully that didn’t happen. Although Kyle did try to create an all white alliance.

I’m a celebrate this back to back, but I’m also ready for the bullshyt that’ll likely happen in BB25, just watch. It never fails (especially since casting is bad at doing background checks).

I know it’s only the second season of this new era in BB (third if you go by when the new stage was debuted). I think when people look back seasons from now. They’re going to say this was a top 3 season. Essentially it’s what BB20 is too many people (many think it’s a top 3 season from last era BB16-BB22).

So many crazy stuff happened this season it felt longer than than what it was. Which is even crazier because this season was on the shorter side. One word I would use to describe this season, “Unreal”.
