I'm ststioned in Korea and just had mymoment using my plat Amex... Went to a Cafe and ordered my drink... I hand baby my card and she swipes it... Then she says something to her girl coworker and does the whole weighing it motion with the card in her hand and they giggle, both are enamored by it... Both of them give me them vibes of wanting to talk, but they had more customers behind me. I just play it cool and act like I don't notice.
bruh this guy I work with is former active duty and he was telling me how all his active duty buddies would rack up on the Amex platinum because they waive the annual fee for military and they would “forget” to use their GTC when making orders and shyt and just use the platinum to book instead.

my BOA cash rewards mastercard pays 5.25% on online shopping and I used it to buy an iphone 13 pro max and the new macbook pro. so that's somewhere around $200 cash back off them two purchases alone.
this week, I JUST realized that I can use it on both sam's club and costco to buy liquor online and get the 5.25% cash on those purchases as well. the kicker is, neither of those stores accepts mastercard in the store, but they do online so I can really take advantage of the rewards money.
so I been using it like crazy on the following merchant websites
target
walmart
sony
apple
costco
sam's club
amazon
nike
nordstrom

Facts.... But they have to be careful or the gov won't reimburse them. Some of my team mates would do that when I was on the team.

you got big money deposited at BofA? If I remember correctly they give higher credit card incentives based on your accounts with them
10-11 in my defense one I’m just an authorized user for my son. And I really don’t count Home Depot, Gap stuff like that because I may use them once a year. So in actuality about 6 majors. I need to get rid of the Cap Ones. They provide very little value. Just holding for credit age at this point.

I have enough combined assets at BOA to get maximum rewards.
I got a retirement account along with a couple of bank accounts plus mine and my daughter's investment account.
for instance, like I can make unlimited non BOA atm withdrawals and they waive all the fees.
when I originally got the credit card, my limit was $3000, now it's $36300.
