It's not anything. Zo is talking about the OG shoes he had in summer league his rookie season. This was before Brand Black was making his shoes. He has a new BBB shoe coming out this fall along with LaMelo's new shoe.

People are taking this clip and framing it out of context. it was well known in Summer 2017 that the original BBB shoes weren't going to be quality enough for Zo to play in games. Thats when they switched the gameplan and partnered with Brand Black. In that clip he's just telling the story of how it went down back then.

The original BBB shoes would've been better marketing as just a causal shoe. Lavar said a casual shoe will be coming out this year so we'll see.
