This is a weird thread op.

"Burrow can beat anybody"

Breh, Burrow only beat Mahomes in 2021 when mahomes crashed out:dead:
Burrow outplayed Mahomes in that 2nd half, and played him to a draw in that loss at Arrowhead the next season...

Burrow is the only one of the three who ALWAYS comes to play vs Mahomes. There's this narrative that Allen does, but besides the 13-second game, Allen always does some weird shyt to aid the loss. NFL Media has this narrative though that Allen is always matching Mahomes...

I'm rooting for Allen this Sunday, but he's let me down 3 times in a row...
It's ALWAYS the pro-Burrow cats. He lives on a legendary plane with them that I never understood off 1 playoff run.

:russ:
It's two playoff runs, he ran to the AFC Championship the very next season and was right there with KC again...

We have got to stop grouping a 3 time champ who’s an all time playoff riser in with these other guys.
Why do we? It's not like we haven't seen Mahomes choke, what gets me about the Mahomes conversation is that I've seen Allen, Burrow, Hurts, and Brady ALL outplay him in the playoffs, and/or play him to a draw. That's alot of guys, it's not impossible to outplay Mahomes...

This isn't some flawless playoff guy who always shyts on his opponents. He choked in that Super Bowl, and he choked the very next year in the AFC Championship Game...

When I've seen someone show weakness, then the possibility of someone catching him exists. Allen has arguably outplayed him before (Mahomes was also great in that game, though, and that 13-second drive was legendary), and Mahomes has lost at Arrowhead twice before, so I need him to outplay Mahomes again and Buffalo to beat these mf's on Sunday...

Mahomes gets the benefit of doubt because he more consistently brings his A-game, that's enough for me. But he's been outplayed in regular seasons and playoff games before. What we need to stop doing, is acting like homeboy is always out there outplaying everybody. Sometimes these guys lose to him (Allen in the 13-second game, Hurts) even when they've played better, because the Chiefs just had the better team and better breaks...

Your Mahomes bias is well known. He’s had two I would say bad playoff games. You told us a notorious playoff choker only needed 1 ring to match an all time playoff riser. And what did said choker do again? He choked and turned the ball over twice and lost.

Mahomes was throwing to special teams players 2 years ago in Marcus Kemp and MVS and got it done against Joe Burrow in the afc title game. Got it done against Josh Allen in 13 seconds. He knew he needed to score every drive against the eagles in the second half and got it done. My boy’s legacy is cemented…compare them other dudes who ain’t never won shyt together.

He outplayed Mahomes when he played like utter shyt. He absolutely did not play him to a draw in that 2nd game. He made crucial mistakes in that game. His defense was key to both games.

That said, chips are the only thing we can go back 2 or 3 years for. Homey aint made the playoffs, the expanded playoffs, in 2 years. Mahomes and the Pips all been there. Thats gotta reflect on Joe. Thats worse than losing in the playoffs.

His legacy is cemented, no argument from me. All these guys likely have more career in front of them, than behind them. So it's not a foregone conclusion that Mahomes remains ahead...

Fair enough on Joe, but he did rise in that second half of the '21 AFCCG when Mahomes wilted. I mean, if we wanna credit defenses for spurring victories, there are no shortage of Mahomes games we can attribute that to...

But fair enough, Joe continually missing the playoffs is a negative...

He aint perfect but nobody ever had been. What he has done in the playoffs dwarfs all those dudes. If the Bills win Sunday, that is still the case. We have reached the point of taking what he is doing for granted or straight up downplaying it.

the H2H QB records dont tell us much about how good the QBs are compared to each other, unless you think theres some psychological effect that playing Mahomes’ team or Burrow’s team or whatever has. QBs are succeeding or failing against defenses
QBs are also dependent on their line and skill players to do their jobs. People only acknowledge this when their guy loses.
