This is the part that gets me. People were "tired of wearing masks", celebrated when the mandate was lifted, but are in shock that they want ppl back in the office.

I'm blue collar, so i gotta go to work, but I aint a hater. I wish the WFH workers could WFH permanently.

With them being forced back, worker morale is gonna be very low

Non existent, actually. Plus with more attacks against micromanaging bosses.

fukking great question.

He's probably going to try and say they ended the pandemic. He's panicking with this back in office bullshyt because he knows how extremely rare it is for an incumbent to win re-election in a terrible economy. A lot of people hate Trump, but they'll say 'at least there wasn't a huge recession'. And if Biden's team is stupid enough to actually do the no-fly zone over ukraine, they've officially joined the war and now he'll have a bad economy AND a war that nobody wanted.

he has the economy. Unemployment is 3.8% and inflation will work itself out when supply chain gets back to normal.

But you are right, he blew a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something significant and meaningful for the people which would have helped the party in the long run with Build Back Better.

He didn’t even fight for his so-called agenda. I believe him and Manchin were in cahoots.but I can’t prove it. If politically, he dies, he dies. :yeshrug:

I bet workers got more work done in a more timely fashion at home.

If I'm an office worker, i'm just showing up, not doing anything like:unimpressed:

"Jeff, your were doing so well when you WFH, what happened???"

I don’t consider a 50/50 Senate a once in a lifetime opportunity. If he had a 65-35 Senate and had the same outcome, then I’d agree with you.

I would get a WFH job (there are a few companies like that still), and straight up LEAVE that company without a resignation letter. If all the best workers leave, the office would fall apart anyway.

Y’all nikkas in ya feelings bc me and my wife ain’t a fan of it. It’s literally our own opinion. I ain’t here to convince you, you do you. I ain’t tryna work at home, my home is my sanctuary. Like I said, idgaf about gas prices, and my commute ain’t long. That shyt is boring as hell on a daily basis for me. If you like it, I love it :camby:
I wasn’t “in my feelings” but you’re talking about being bored? Do you know how many things I can build, how much I can learn, how many small repairs/fix-ups on my house I can do when I’m “bored” at home, while getting paid? But like you said, do you…

If employees would get on the same page, they'd have so much damn power but their are ppl texting their boss shyt like "cant wait to get back to the office!!!!"

If there were ever an opportunity for worker revolution, it is now.

That's assuming moderates and center left dems would not have voted at all. I think he would have been able to pull them in especially if he got blacks on board.
Sanders had zero support in the African American community and that would have depressed turnout. Independents weren’t going to vote for a Socialist. Trump would have won.
