It's called reduced stress levels. Fighting traffic is one of those things that increase stress, even if you are a calm person. What about not actually seeing annoying co workers trying to talk to you throughout the day? Saving money on lunch, gas and buying clothes. All that shyt costs a lot. I took that amount and am putting it towards investments.

I’ve saved tens of thousands over the years between work clothes, food, dry cleaning, gas and mileage on my car.

Not to mention the value of time saved from not commuting back and forth to the office. I can wake up later, drink coffee and eat breakfast at my leisure on my balcony, do a 30 minute yoga/meditation in the time it used to take me to dress and commute to work. In the afternoons and evenings, I have time to cook healthy meals, workout, and prepare for the next day.

The quality of life is not even comparable for me.

Once latinos overtook us as the largest minority voting demographic that would end our utility to the Democratic Party, and that happened last election. Keep hoping Black people are the ones deciding these elections and you’ll just be setting yourself up for more heartbreak.

nothing you see happening out in the real world shows that democrats are reliant upon Black people for our votes.

Eh.....Democrats desperately need our votes. If we vote Dem with high turnout at a 90% clip, they almost always win. If our turnout dips or we choose Dems at say 80%, Dems stand zero chance.

The Latino vote leans Democrat but their turnout tends to be low and they usually fluctuate in the 55/45 to 65/35 range with that group. Latinos get them over the top but they can't even get to the table without our vote.

The ONLY reason they take us for granted is because the GOP doesn't even try to court us. If they did, they'd lose half their voters at the drop of a hat. GOP is stuck on the culture wars/race stuff so they can't appeal to us.

If we don't vote, GOP wins and that isn't really a good outcome either. For the country to move forward we need the "right" to basically be Joe Biden...maybe even Mitt Romney at worst. America doesn't have a true left. We have center, right of center and extreme right. There's no extreme left to balance the politics out.

Personally I think it's a rigged game. The GOP plays the boogeyman to POC while the Dems play the boogeyman to middle America whites. Both sides play their roles but they all work for big corporations. The culture/race/immigration shyt is a game to keep us occupied while they consolidate power and money into the hands of the elite. Keep us fighting each other instead of focusing on the economic winners (few) and losers (many).
