My last day working in an office was February 24, 2020 and that's not changing :umad:

Working from home has saved me hundreds monthly, turning my laptop on, shower and begin my day. :banderas:
Man when I was working from home I ain't even shower
Ngl
Spent days festering in my own stench:jawalrus:

People want to mingle and mix..Espicially women..

Big city moving and shaking is where the unexpected happens as far as deals and networking go

If you trying to level up, NOTHING replaces being in someone's face and putting your stamp down in the trenches..

I don't care how good your "numbers" are, if you not 10 toes down where the action is, those promotions gonna pass you by..:yeshrug:

In the office you aren't usually networking though, maybe if you're a salesman or consulting.

Aren't there usually a number of business expos and hiring events you can go to? What about LinkedIn, Meet-up, etc.?

Do you think Trump would have done a better job at passing progressive legislation?
Do you think he would have nominated Jackson for the Supreme Court?
Sitting out is effectively voting for the other candidate.

My company is 100% remote. We don’t have an office space. But if I was in a hypothetical situation where WFH ended because of this old fukk, I would sit out the election and have zero qualms about it.

I vote against my own economic self interest as it is, my WFH perk is where I draw a line.

You gotta just understand that these policy makers are looking at this from numbers and not the human side. But the fact is that work life drove a lot of money into the economy (work lunches, travel, shopping). They don't want you saving so much money. They want you out there spending. So, they wanna get your asses into the offices.

I don't know the answer but the work isn't going back to what it used to be. They're going to need to figure new stuff out. They should just focus on that infrastructure bill.

He’s doing the bidding of the real estate lobby. If these big cities have empty downtowns then companies have no need for office space anymore.
If 25% of downtown office space could be converted to housing that would do wonders for the homelessness crisis and for housing costs. Also be great for the construction industry.

Pros to WFH:

  • Not having to iron my clothes every morning/ night before.
  • I save two hours on not having to commute.
  • I save money that I don’t spend on travel, food, haircuts etc.
  • I get extra hours in bed.
  • Home life balance has improved.
  • I don’t have to interact with nosey, gossipy, passive aggressive CACs.
  • I get more chores done at home.
  • I haven’t been sick once because I’m not around coughing/sneezing dirty commuters.
  • I get more time to go to the gym.
  • I have time to prepare and cook fresh food.
  • I can indulge in other hobbies at home.
  • I see my girlfriend more often.
Cons to WFH:
  • I see my girlfriend more often.
Pros To Working in An Office:
  • I get to perv from the sidelines looking at the young talent.
Cons to working in an office:
  • Everything.
Not really selling me on this Sleepy Joe.

Biden can’t stop WFH. There won’t be legislation to ban it. The new normal is going to have far more WFH. For some jobs and industries it makes sense.
