Because the president of Ukraine has come out for the SECOND time to say he’s willing to give up land for peace with Russia.
So how is sending weapons already paid for going to affect that?

It's always been a problem.
I mean, aside from targeting price gouging, targeting monopolies with Google and microsoft, adding more drugs to the negotiation lists, expanding Medicaid/medicare to cover diabetes drugs like ozempic, forgiving roughly another billion dollars in student debt, implementing funding from the infrastructure act to tackle local and state projects, increase the standard deduction and the cap on tax benefits that help working class families, work with the Mexican president to curtail illegal immigration, increase manufacturing at home, and bring down inflation.

Tell me, when is the last time you have used a Javelin to buy a car? A HIMARS to purchase a house? Last time i checked we use USD to make purchases, which is what we are not giving them.
The money you are crying about has already been spent, the weapons collecting dust not being used. If you have a problem with how money is being spent on weapons that will most likely never get used, then take it up with Congress.

Last time i checked we elect people to the House of Representatives and the Senate, take it up with yours. No use crying about weapons that have been purchased years to decades ago being sent off when the military budget is still as big as it is. Get angry over that.

” - I support Ukraine's right to defend itself against Russia's aggressive invasion because I believe in upholding sovereignty and international law. And I don't let the double standards of Biden or the US weigh on that belief. At the same time, I oppose the US's unconditional support for Israel, especially when they fail to hold it accountable for their human rights abuses, violations of international law, and genocidal actions against Palestinians. And just as I support Ukrainians fighting to push out Russia, I also support the Palestinian fight for freedom and dignity against Israel.
My beliefs aren't based on any religious views, or any stupid campist shyt that people try to exploit to make this seem like a complicated issue. I only care about human rights and justice. And I don't endorse groups like Hamas, Houthis, or Hezbollah. My stance is rooted in opposing oppression. I'm not a champion of the West's hypocrisy, especially in claiming to defend Ukraine in the name of sovereignty while enabling Israel to act with impunity. Just as I'm not going to ignore bad actors like Russia, simply because they play the foil. I don't think Biden is the "goat," his unconditional support for Israel turned me off from supporting him, even though I can acknowledge that he has done some good domestically with his labor support and other initiatives.
Now, let me ask you. Why do you keep tagging me in threads, but always run away when I ask you why your account was dormant for 7 years before you suddenly started posting?

No way! That poster would never try to mislead people.
That is how a representative government works, you know that right? You put people to represent your interests in positions whether it be city, county, state or federal to represent you. That goes for the president as well. It is not the thing you want to hear but it is what you have to work with.
You couple that with a lack of care or concern for politics by a majority of this country, electing flawed and cynical elected officials, then you are not going to get a good outcome. But with all that being said, the money for a lot of the weapons has already been spent, 20-30+ years ago that Ukraine is now getting. People are equating this as if the government is taking tax dollars right now from other funding which is not the case. Either the weapons go to Ukraine or they stay in storage and at some point get destroyed, it is what it is.
