Now we know Joe was putting a fly in the ointment. He was afraid he would be asked to step down in 2024 if Kamala appeared ready. But you see how God works? God got Biden out of the paint anyway. Now we just wait and see why. Was it just Kamalas lucky day,or is she possibly the chosen one? the Trojan horse once prophesized:respect:?

We already knew this based on her initial run for president, the staffing issues with that campaign and how she flip-flopped on issues like Medicare for all. I think currently she has a lot of folks from Biden's campaign so it is probably more stable but I don't think those issues went away entirely.

With that said if she loses I'm not entirely sure it would be all her fault because I'm not sure anyone could turn an election around at the point Joe Biden decided to drop out.

If the Democrats lose it could also fracture the party. They would have no choice but to come back crawling to Progressives.
:wow:

For Harris, remaking Biden's White House could be the best revenge

I mean that would be the ideal outcome but we know they don't think like that. Look at what happened in 2016. We had a popular candidate in Bernie Sanders (who admittedly didn't think he could win) get shut out by Democrats in favor of Hilary Clinton, who loses and next go round we end up with Biden. I'm hopeful though.

Corporatists would rather have the republicans win every election than a democratic socialist progressive like Sanders. Let alone an actual socialist.

They all ultimately work for the same donor class of establishment.

No, Miriam Adelson is not going to give Kamala $100 Million, but Kamala still has other donors, and the people in her orbit has donors, so in that bubble coming out with populist policies like banning arms sales and military funding to Israel, paid maternity leave is unconscionable.

Yeah, ultimately it's going to come down to local organizing and building up power from the bottom to put pressure up the chain.

Due to technological advances the common people are running out of time. Do you remember that documentary a couple years back, The Social Dilemma?

Social Media companies invest millions every year to learn how people who interact with SM thinks and how to move them emotionally. Even if the advent of deep fakes and other fake technologies can be nullified (it can't, there are studies that prove once a person sees something, they can't completely let go of the idea even if they are told it's fake), there will be powerful AI that can comb through a ridiculous amount of data and create algorithms that could perfect political messaging.

Imagine a candidate with dictatorial aspirations who can compose and communicate the perfect messaging to get voters to liberate themselves from democracy and vote for autocracy.
