I don't think he passes the NFL's due diligence. I remember when the Texans owner came into the league they went forensic into all of his funds and had spies do background checks. If the stories about him are true they won't let this happen. This isn't the MLB with Frank McCourt.

Who's Frank Mccourt??? :patrice:

The optics of Bezos owning the paper who orchestrated the hitpiece that forced Snyder to sell was always gonna be tricky from the league's point of view (not even considering the personal beef Snyder would have). That would set a precedent of billionaires ambushing eachother to get someone ousted so they could take their place.

Combine that with Bezos having a TV rights deal with the league atm and it's just too messy to navigate.
Bezos can purchase the entire nfl league.. league valued at 15-20 billion.. more reason for the owners to veto any purchase he trying to make :mjlol:

I thought fertita is penny pinching and could barely come up with the money to buy the rockets
It’s like dating a dime versus dating a six. You may be willing to splurge on the dime, but for the six you aren’t even willing to upgrade her happy meals. He’s penny pinching because it’s the NBA, he’s willing to be in the debt for the rest of his life to join the NFL.

ok this is what i dont understand... WHY must it come to a vote???:patrice: to me that seems sketchy asf that other owners have the right of way over a matter of a team THEY don't own to be sold...:what:
Can't have someone come in and damage the rep of the shield or willing to go rogue like Cohen/Mets owner. Jerry tried that when he first took over setting up separate apparel deals with Apex and the other owners nipped that shyt quick

The guy the MLB let buy the Dodgers on layaway. He ain't really have no money. Just some parking lots and they let him parlay into buying the Dodgers. He basically gave them a parking lot in Boston in exchange for the Dodgers then they his divorce basically forced him to sell. He "bought" it with a $400 million "loan" and sold for $2 billion.
