Beyonce's a solid 8 surrounded by overhyped 5's & 6's.She doesn't have any real competition.She should be running laps around these chicks.Imagine her in the late 80's/early 90's with the MJ's, prime Whitney, Janet, and Mariah!? Hell, even Selena Quintanilla had more showmanship in her pinky than most of these chicks have now.And she was just a regional star in TX before she got murdered.The competition was fierce.

Yeah B knows how to put on a spectacle.Janet didn't have to be the greatest singer.Her showmanship/musical concepts were 2nd to none.She had the whole Jackson pedigree behind her.Whitney & Mariah just simply made better music than Beyonce.B's not touching Whitney's natural charisma.As previously stated, I think B leans more on spectacle.Her personality is bland imo.While she's great at the technical aspects of singing, her voice never moved me.It's missing something.Could be that she's so commercialized.It just doesn't evoke anything in me.She probably wouldn't even rank in my personal/preferred top 15 female singing voices.In many ways, she reflects her hubby.I think both their first/debut albums is their best work.B was at her best/most soulful on Dangerously In Love imo.I might be dead meat speaking my opinion about B in public like this

I'm just saying Bey has the least amount of natural charisma imo.Simple as that.I can get why the crowd booed I Wanna Dance With Somebody.That's Whitney's most wooden/generic song.Especially considering the competition that year.That's not an indictment on her talent, tho.Just an example of mismanagement/Bad marketing.By '92, Whitney found her footing, and started trampling the competition.Janet was definitely into spectacle, but her concepts packed more bite.For instance, I think what she did with Rhythm Nation shyts on anything Beyonce ever rolled out...But if you're done, so am I.Peace & blessings to you.
