It's been 30 years since "Beverly Hills Cop 3" was released which was May 94 the last film in the Franchise. But yes it's been 40 years since the first one. I heard they were trying to do a TV Show before this movie but it didn't get off the ground. Regardless, yes it's been a minute. But this Legacy Sequels have been doing pretty good the last Decade.

Wow those two actors playing the cops from the first movie looked to have aged horribly! The older guy looks like a wax figurine and Judge looking like he is in a nursing home waiting for dessert. Lawd help Eddie.
