My bad. Seeing Bloomberg with this level of support among black people in the polls has me heated today.

They don't care. I was at the dentist last week and they have the tvs mounted so you can watch while you get your teeth cleaned. Most of the staff is female so they had that gossip show "the real" on. During commercials I saw two adds for Bloomberg. All it had was a clip of Obama praising him and stills of him with Obama. I was like this is all its really gonna take for a lot of people.:snoop:

I know people here hate Yvette but please watch the first 50 mins or so (in parts if you have to). This is important as she talks about the dangers of monopolies and how they destroy black businesses and how Bloomberg and his style of politics is horrible for us.

All this recent Bloomberg support shows most black politicians are completely sold out and are cowardly.

They keep pushing this "electability" and "he's a billionaire" as reasons they feel he can beat Trump. I've seen no polling or statistics showing Bloomberg winning anything head to head vs. Trump.

Our politicians don't talk about policy only platitudes. Young black folks please wake up and don't be as scared and cowardly as our previous generations. Bloomberg is the poster boy for income inequality yet all these black politicians think he is the solution.

:snoop:

The polling average has him +6 against Trump. :manny:

Yeah, she and Tariq can go f uck themselves

Put you hatred aside and listen to the points she makes. Old blacks are falling for Bloomberg and we need to be able to explain to our people why he is dangerous for us.

Don't put her and Tariq in the same category when it comes to discussing serious politics.

If these are my options as a liberal, why should I bother even choosing one. I'd just not vote.
while I kinda agree in general, you gotta remember trump is more than a politician at this point, hes a symbol of white supremacy at the top. keeping him in means his racist base rejoices and think america is theirs.

yes, on the practical level most things wont change if bloomberg is the president...he's terrible. but at least the act of trump losing will be a thing. as opposed to him getting reelected.

but again, bloomberg is not getting the nomination. it's either Bernie or a moderate at this point.

I wish I could see a head to head breakdown by state of Trump vs Bloomberg. They don't have those stats.
Once Bloomberg gets on the debate stage I think his numbers will drop. One people see he has no policy solutions and is just a rich guy who will protect this crooked status quo they will wake up out of this stupidity of needing a billionaire to take on Trump.

It’s not just about symbols. This is why people are angry. Replacing loud with silent doesn’t change anything.

yeah, but lets say theyre equal in their terribleness, and if the choice is between them, Id take the scenario where the symbol is dead :manny: the downside is youre enabling hope where there is none, but I just dont believe america will get bloomberg as the challenger, it would be ridiculous.
