Better wrestler in their primes: Chris Jericho or Kurt Angle?

I've always hated that logic. In real life such as UFC they ain't wearing down the leg or working on the neck before putting on a choke. Usually just beating the hell and weakening them until their defenses are down and they can slide on the hold. That's how I look at the anklelock.

Agreed. Plus it's an ankle lock. Why would you need to work the leg when all you're doing is putting pressure on the ankle?

I know the lion tamer looked good but if WWE made him stop using it then he should of went away from the move completely bc the walls of Jericho looked real bad. My main point though is you knocked angle for not working the leg but rarely if ever did Jericho work the back before he applied this

Should've been a poll. And Angle easily. He was supposed to be the first undisputed champion for a reason.

And I always thought it was called the "Angle lock" since it was Angle's move

Am I the only person who felt Jericho was better?

Actually comparison is not because the timeline does not match at all.
As both grapplers timeline is completely different to make it to the big dance.
we don't know if angle would have made it.
if he had to endure the Business in full as Jericho did.
angle got a leg up being who he is.
plus benefitted from that
whereas, jericho being an irvine.
never had the same luxury in the business.

it is an unfair comparison..
if you know these grapplers background from skills to politically as well.

Imagine if Kurt hadn’t blow out his...everything and was as healthy as Jericho is right now showing up in AEW

If we going by that critieris Jericho is vastly superior.
As Jericho endured more tours in varying degrees of the card in comparison to angle.

if i replied to this thread before.
the more i think about this and review rants and tape in my head.
I can not really oit angle over Jericho long term.
Plus their wwf slash WWE tenure politically together.
are two opposite swings of the pendulum.
where I have to give Jericho the full nod objectively and globally in comparison the more i think about it.
