I agreed that P was better because his solo's were better than kurupts.My point is just rapping kurupt will rap circles around P. Dead that east vs west that's not what its about.

In their Primes, Prodigy couldn't see Kurupt on no emcee shyt. Kurupt was too beastly.
Prodigy is dope in his own right with intangibles and all that. He made good music. But are we talking about pure spitting? Did you listen to verse 2?

Prodigy is the better artist got the better catalog and writes better songs but when it comes to pure spitting...prime Kurupt wins this hands down

this is a hard one. both had classic group albums. if this was about the infamous vs DoggFood im rollin with Prodigy/Mobb Deep. but on the solo tip im ridin with kurupt. Kuruption is a slammin album and is better then anything P put out solo wise

Prodigy was more consistent but Kurupt had more electrifying verses/guest spots.
Infamous to Murda Muzik was a great run but I really enjoyed Kurupt's 92-96 moments more.

yes it is! 2 of my favorite top 10 classics ever. the infamous wins it for me tho cause i have so much good memorise from the time that album came out

Kurupt is a better rapper. Prodigy was part of a more cohesive group, with more consistency. He's a street rapper who edges lyricism.
Kurupt is a lyrical rapper in a street framing.
Both adapted to an environment they're not from.

Kurupt is a beast. But he's not seeing P in his prime. P more versatile too.
I'm a little bias and have that Dogg Pound and Streetz Is A Mutha album in my personal favorite albums. Too many memories attached to it. Prodigy is the overall better artist but when it comes to straight up killing verses and flow.....Kurupt was a bad muthafukka and would light verses on fire. His verse on Smooth....
