Don't know about nationwide, The internet was not that big at the time so there was no way to know, so you can't assume either way. I would say though locally in NYC he was definitely top 5

I didn't name names because there's no use exchanging with you. I told you this exact thing not too ago. You have a clear west coast bias & there's no reasoning with someone like that so I'm not gonna waste my time or energy trying to counter what you say. You have these preconceived notions that are inaccurate most of the time when it comes to NY bro. But I like Mobb Deep at their prime more than DPG. Infamous is better than Dogg Food, and Hell on Earth is a very good album too.

Apostle's Warning is probably my favorite verse from Prodigy.
