the plane hi-jack. just out of the sheer audacity!

the bank heist was cool, because it was simple, and joker depended on the disloyalty of his team to stab each other in the back. there was some slick planning but a lot of luck and good timing too.

bane's plan to intentionally get caught, kidnap dr. pevel (IN MID-FLIGHT), and make it believed he and his henchmen were dead in the crash was pure genius!

That place sequence was cool, I saw the Bane reveal coming, not like thats amazing, but it was a ludicrous plan, LOL, I mean it barely worked, 'We're gonna turn the plane upside down, and I'm just going to hang on real tight'. I know it's a comic book movie, but it's still a little funny to me. Dope scenes though. If a little overblown and illogical, but that was pretty much the movie.

besides the fact, there was little CG in that scene and they had actual stuntmen pulling it off... not TOO "illogical".

whut's illogical is somehow that bus was able to pulling in with the REST of the buses at the EXACT time WITHOUT anyone noticing...

Bank robbery....I didn't understand the point of the plane scene till the part bane blew up the stadium

but, um.. whut was the point of the bank robbery? i know it got gordon to track down the mob bank account. but whut exactly was the JOKER'S intent? just to continue "ripping off mob dealers""?

at LEAST the plane hi-jacking was story related and not exactly random...

Isn't that kinda what the joker does? It seemed to me he was doing it to get batman's attention. Batman was ready to direct all his attention to him before Gordan tells him not to worry over one guy.

wrong on both... one, the REST of the story focused on the rise and fall of harvey dent! he was the story arc. the joker's antics were all related to getting to harvey who he ORIGINALLY thought was batman, and even with that he made it a point to convert harvey from an honest man to someone who will murder others. the bank robbery had nothing to do with the rest of the plot AT ALL.

2nd, you are wrong. it was BATMAN that said, "one man or the rest of the mob, HE CAN WAIT". batman cared less about the joker and saw the mob as the PRIORITY at the time.

For the 1st scene of the movie it was a lot to decipher

:comeon::beli: at cats in here saying they didn't understand the plane scene.

1 - To find out if the Dr snitched to the CIA & if so find out how much did they knew
So Bane had the Dr told him his entire plan and then he escaped somehow?

2 - To tranfer the Dr's blood in a corpse & make it appeared like he died
Yeah I guess, one of those things that sounds good, but doesn't really seem to matter. Dead or alive nobody seemed too concerned about him

3 - To kidnap him for their bigger plans and goals that lead to the climax and finale of the movie.
Still didn't get what the Dr. actually did, I guess he weaponized the bomb somehow, but seems like Morgan Freeman and Bale were already worried the bomb could easily backfire before the Dr. got involved.

At the end of the day the whole thing seemed a little unnecessary/over the top and was more or a, let's have a real cool opening scene and not really care if it doesn't make a lot of sense.

"Whatever doesn't kill you makes you...strangerrr"

I'm going with TDK. Tho I never got how a school bus can crash into a bank and roll into a line of school buses without raising any eyes.
