ortiz-berto had the best round out of both fights in round 6..berto was close to getting that stoppage but the idiot dropped his hands as he was closing in and got dropped for it..from there the fight was all but beaten out of berto as he literally fought to survive instead of win..it brought the fight down from fight of the year levels to simply a good fight..
at the advice berto was getting from his corner

bradley-provodnikov however was and is something special...that shyt was one of the most violent brawls in the last 5 years...and unlike berto-ortiz no one predicted that fight would be anything special..shyt had a crazy ebb and flow with a wild ending...timmy's best display of punching ever...because he was catching severe work from ruslan and he was too concussed to throw his bullshyt headbutts..considering how many other great fights happened in 2013 it still held up as the best fight of the year.

Berto had a couple rounds where he was delivering that work, and that right he hit Ortiz with in the 6th was legendary. Always thought Ortiz shoulda got 2 KD's in the first round. I still don't see how that KD in round 1 for Bradley-Provodnikov wasn't called a KD..Bradley got rocked, went down, and did a backward roll to his feet and was wobbling...if that counted that fight would have been a majority draw

Prov was just beating the hell out of Bradley, and even though Ruslan was all puffed up after the fight, he was never in danger of being stopped by Bradley. It was more of a display of Prov's punching power and Bradley's will to survive and fight back. Ortiz/Berto was more intriguing to me

Ortiz/Berto is from the same cloth as Matthysse/Molina. Those fights were WARS. Bradley/Prov wasnt a war imo

Bradley and provodnikov were both fukked up, Bradley nearly had his career ended...that's what wars do
hell Ortiz-Berto wasn't even my FOTY pick for that year as I mentioned it had too many lulls in the action esp after round 6..Pawel Wolak-Delvin Rodriguez 1 was my pick..that fight had no chill...that shyt was
