DMX album and its not even close. Damn near every song on that album is great/classic.
Jay shyt was just a very good album with some classic songs on there.

Both still get burn to this day, but I play X album a lot more.

Both are great albums, but no doubt that X's album had waaaaaay more of an impact than Jay's.

Overall Jay's album is better, but DMXs album had certain songs that shine more than any on Jay's album.

"How's it goin' down" was just incredible when you add in the video for it.

DMX brought back the grimey, demonic feeling to Hip Hop in 1998.


There's not a bad song off that album. However, I'll listen to Reasonable Doubt more these day. It was smart for Jay to reissue it in 1998 during the run for Vol 2.



Good thing that I have a copy in my booklet.
