Season 4-5 is when Breaking Bad broke out and became big.
It's rating were increasing season after season even before that period along with the interest of the show.
Better Call Saul's ratings on the other hand have plummeted season after season from it's initial season (which was only high due to the Breaking Bad connection).
It hasn't maintained it's ratings or interest.
How has the show broken out like Breaking Bad?
Uh....you're wrong on several points here.
Season 4 of "Breaking Bad" the average ratings were around 2 mill. Season 3 of "BCS" the ratings are around 3 mill.
Before you consult Wikipedia, season 4 "BB" was
before Live+3 became the standard for most networks. And the Live+3 numbers for "BCS" aren't listed, either.
So I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers from. Like I said, the episode a couple weeks ago pulled 3.4 mill....again, higher than any episode of "Breaking Bad" outside of season 5.
NFL Draft leads, ‘Better Call Saul’ jumps: Cable Live +3 ratings for April 24-30
“Better Call Saul” made the biggest gains among the Top 25, more than doubling its 18-49 rating (0.5 to 1.4) and total audience (1.53 million to 3.47 million).
And that was with the NFL draft
and 3 NBA play off games on at the same time.
So to say "the ratings are plummeting" is wildly inaccurate. "BCS" has the highest gains from Live+3 out of
any show on
any network.
Having said all that I seriously doubt it'll hit the 11 million that the "BB" finale did....but it's virtually unheard of for a show to do that.
